KIND

KIND is a brand of snack food that specializes in making gluten free, non-GMO foods with ingredients that everyone will recognize. The company makes various kinds of snack bars and granola snacks and some are lower in sugar for those that are trying to watch their sugar intake.

The company also focuses on teaching and encouraging consumers to be kinder. Both to their bodies and to those around them. One of the ways they accomplish this is through a program that gives grants to people in order to complete their socially-impactful ideas.

I'm always looking for quick snacks to eat on the go so I'm definitely going to have to try out KIND products. I'm very picky about my snacks though so we'll see if KIND passes the test.

  1. Like I've told others, I love that our PR department is part of a campaign that promotes non-GMO food. I don't really get why they put such an emphasis on their social responsibility, it doesn't seem like it would sell much more, but I'd definitely not against making the world a kinder place to live.

  3. Rachel, I definitely agree with you about being picky about the snacks you eat, I'm very much the same. Being a college student, it's always good to have snacks that you can eat on the go and I think KIND bars fit this criteria. I think that KIND bars are working toward a great goal of trying to get people to eat better in general and be KIND to their body, but sometimes the process can be slow. As a brand you have to work your way up by word of mouth and reviews. It's a long process, that's why people don't always get excited right when a new product comes out, unless every single person can use it. Were you able to try a sample of a KIND bar in class on Thursday? I tried the caramel macchiato flavor and really liked it! I just wish the bar was a little bit bigger for the price. Please let me know what you think when you try one!
